Introducing Pet Portals!
This new feature allows clients to register using the banner located on the right side of this page.  Once you provide your e-mail address, we will send you your login and temporary password.  By logging in you can view your pet's vaccination due dates and medications.  You can also request appointments, grooming, boarding reservations, and diet and prescription refills.

Bordetella Protocol Changes
Did you know we have recently changed how often we recommend your dog is vaccinated for kennel cough?  We sent out reminders to all of our canine patients to let you know that we are following the recommendations of the American Animal Hospital Association.  Studies have shown that the bordetella vaccination does not truly protect dogs for 12 months.  It is now recommended to have your pet's bordetella boostered every 6 months.

Laketown Animal Hospital is undertaking a technological upgrade!
We now have pages on Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter!  Laketown invites you to come visit us on these sites and share your stories, photos, or even questions.  We have also recently acquired a digital x-ray system to provide enhanced imaging capabilities for diagnosing.  To showcase the images to clients we are adding 24" computer monitors to all five exam rooms.  The exam room computers will also be equipped with educational software Dia which features detailed articles, descriptions, diagrams, and informational videos for clients.  Laketown is also converting to electronic medical records.  We can e-mail you records, vaccination certificates, and estimates now.
